Joy Division,Se disolvió en mayo de 1980 tras el suicidio de su cantante, Ian Curtis. El resto de miembros del grupo crearon un grupo nuevo, New Order, un par de meses después.
Estaba mirando por internet y acabé viendo esto en un foro,dice todo lo que andaba buscando de esta gran cancíon.

Uno de los grandes grupos de la historia de la música (no soy objetivo, vale). Pocas veces un grupo con apenas 4 años de existencia y solo 2 discos (y multitud de "directos piratas" ) influenció tanto.
Esta canción es probablemente una de las más conocidas de un grupo (desafortunadamente) no muy conocido.
Ian Curtis (cantante y compositor entre otras cosas) se suicidó poco después de componerla, lo que acrecentó la leyenda de la banda y del propio Curtis (su viuda grabó en su lapida "Love Will Tear Us Apart", canción compuesta para ella -¿otra leyenda?- después de unos cuernos y de un matrimonio demasiado intenso). Sea cual sea el motivo o la historia de la canción, su letra no deja de acompañarme en los últimos años.
Como decía Enrique Martinez, "el amor nos separará otra vez, ni siquiera en él encontraremos alivio ni solución a nuestra miseria. Ese contraste convierte a esta canción en una obra maestra: debajo de la fachada feliz del amor se esconde una trampa."

La estrella nunca te joderá, a no ser que de verdad quieras que te jodan bien jodido, pero ellos te joderán a traición y, como siempre, te joderán mal, porque no saben joder mejor y cuando despiertes jodido/jodida y solo, mirarás al cielo y te preguntarás:¿dónde coño está la estrella?
